Passport to Adventure
Summer Cub Scout Day Camp is a fun-filled week of adventure and fun for Cub Scouts! The Washington Crossing Council hosts five one-week sessions of Cub Scout Day Camps throughout the council. This year’s theme is “Passport to Adventure”. The camp offers various exciting activities which may include archery, arts & crafts, field sports, nature, scout skills, cooking, wrist rockets, and many other themed activities. Day Camp is an exciting opportunity to introduce the outdoor program to all Cub Scouts with little camping experience.
Day Camp is an outdoor experience where Cub Scouts participate in individual and team sports, games, crafts, exploring nature, and work on achievements, electives, and activity badges. Scouts have fun in the outdoors -- that's Cub Scout Day Camp.
Some of the activities that scouts will do at camp are shoot archery, make cool crafts, go on nature hikes, play awesome games, and other great stuff! All Cub Scouts, from Tigers to Arrow of Light, are encouraged to attend. Tigers must bring their adult partner.
The Cub Scout Day Camp program is designed to teach skills and develop attitudes that make a Cub Scout more self-reliant, and more at home in the outdoors. They will have a great time with a goal. Make sure your child gets Cub Scouting at its best by attending Cub Scout Day Camp. Scouts are placed in dens by age and gender, and stay with the same den and leaders for the week. Campers will rotate through a variety of stations each day: team sports, games, nature, crafts, archery, and den time. The activity at each station will be different each day of camp. Cub Day Camp is a program of the Washington Crossing Council, Boy Scouts of America. It meets the standards of the National Council, BSA, and is inspected annually to assure you of a high quality, successful camping experience. It is committed to a policy that all persons shall have equal access to its facilities, employment, safety, and programs without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, age, or handicap.
Adult Volunteers are needed! If you would like to work at one of the camps, please send an email to the director of the camp. You should include your name, email, and phone number. Each adult who volunteers for a full week will receive a discounted rate of $50 for their Scout.
We’re looking forward to weeks of Cub Scouting Fun!
