SCOUTS TO THE SKIES CAMPOREE
At Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) in LAKEHURST, NJ

The Scouts to the Skies Camporee is an aviation themed event in which patrols with participate in non-competitive activity stations and displays. This theme also includes the history of the former naval air base and the mission of its military tenants. Most of these stations and displays will be located inside historic Hanger 1, where the Hindenburg was held. All participants will be able to camp for two nights in tents in a partially wooded site on U.S. Government property. Troops must provide for and prepare all meals during this event. The purpose of this event is to encourage patrol teamwork and leadership through the participation in the stations; to introduce the scouts to the history and science of aviation, aviation-based careers and the U.S. Military.
A full roster of all participants must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than March 28th. This information will be required to gain admittance to the base.
For youth: only first and last name is required.
For Adults: First and last name and full home address is required.
