Commissioners support and assist unit leadership in providing a quality program for the youth of the community. Commissioners serve as representatives of the council, communicate information on training activities and upcoming events to unit leadership and providing support and encouragement for the unit's accomplishments. Commissioners visit units on a regular basis to keep leaders informed and trained and identify potential ways in which the council and district can better serve and support the unit.  Commissioner service is an essential cornerstone of a successful Scouting program.  For more information about the commissioner service you are welcome to call the Washington Crossing Council Service Center.
