Coverage/Territory

The Washington Crossing Council supports Scouting in Bucks County in Pennsylvania as well as Hunterdon and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. 

Within that footprint, the council is divided into four geographical areas called districts. Each district is made up of local Scouting units called Cub Scout packs, Scouts BSA troops, Venturing crews, and Exploring posts. These units are chartered to a local religious institution, school, or community organization. 

The four districts in in the Washington Crossing Council are:

•Hunterdon Arrowhead – covering all of Hunterdon County, shown in blue in the map below.

•Mercer Area – covering all of Mercer County plus Plainsboro Township and Cranbury Township in Middlesex County, and and Montgomery Township and Rocky Hill Borough in Somerset County, shown in green in the map below.

•Tamanend – covering lower Bucks County, shown in orange on the map below.

•Tohickon – covering the central and upper parts of Bucks County, shown in gray on the map below.
