2026 National Scout Jamboree

MARK YOUR CALENDAR! The National Scout Jamboree is returning to the Summit in the summer of 2026.

Washington Crossing Council is preparing to send a Council contingent of Scouts and Scouters to the Jamboree. If you are interested in being a part of the contingent, please complete the interest form below.

July 22-31, 2026
The Summit Bechtel Reserve, Glen Jean, WV

Contingent Eligibility:

Jamboree Service Team and Staff Positions:

Adults & Youth (16+ year old) - There is a critical need for Jamboree staff. Jamboree staff enables a successful event for all youth participants and staffing needs span all activities and skills.

Cost:

The current estimated* cost is $2,450.00 per participant. This fee covers the following:
- Jamboree fee, as charged by Summit Bechtel ( includes meals and campsite accommodations for the 10 day event)
- Round trip charter bus transportation to/from the Summit Bechtel
- Jamboree gear including all Troop/Crew specific gear
- Pre-Jamboree team building, unit planning & shakedown events
*this estimate is preliminary and subject to change as we get more information from the National Jamboree Organizing Team

Payment Details:
