The Washington Crossing Council offers a variety of programs for young people.
- Cub Scouting: For elementary school-aged boys and girls
- Scouts BSA: for middle and high school-aged boys and girls
- Venturing & Exploring: for high school boys and girls
Parents and families looking for a Scouting group in their community can visit the “Find a local Scouting group” link to the left or reach out to the Washington Crossing Council service center at 215-348-7205.
A great resource for families who are new to Cub Scouting is the “Parent Orientation Guide” which provides a good overview of the program.
Scouting relies on volunteers to operate. Adults and community members are encouraged to get involved. Please visit the “Becoming a Volunteer” for more details.
Some of the best things in Scouting happen at the unit level. It’s true for the life changing experiences that happen at every pack meeting, and it’s true for recruiting as well. When packs and troops get involved, the changes are greater that more young people will get introduced to Scouting. Some resources for unit leaders are available on the list to the right.
