The Need to Support Scouting

Today’s youth face an increasingly complex environment and we know that our members live Scouting’s adventure every day by pursuing challenging and diverse experiences. Scouting has enjoyed over a century-long reputation of delivering a high quality, fun-filled, and exciting character based program that has made it our Nation’s premier youth-serving organization.

The Scouting program is constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of the youth of our community. Your investment in Scouting’s youth provides the foundation for the programs and services provided each day to over 5,000 young people throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Hunterdon County and the greater Mercer County area in New Jersey.

Contributing to the Washington Crossing Council, BSA creates opportunities for youth to gain memorable experiences and become instilled with values, principles, and skills that will help them develop into the future leaders of our nation. Boy Scouts of America is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

There are a number of ways to financially support the Washington Crossing Council. You can contribute today either with dollars (and don’t forget to check to see if your company has a Matching Gift Program), goods, special event attendance, or you can set up future giving via an endowment for instance.

Each of these are outlined under "Ways to Support"…and when in doubt, please feel free to reach out to us.
